About us
We have been offering professional babysitting for children of all ages in Prague and its surroundings since 2014. We can provide you with proper nannies for one-time and regular babysitting, and we can arrange a babysitter for the family's long-term needs. We also babysit children at social events, in hotels and in children’s play areas, including in foreign languages. Our nannies speak English, French, German and Russian. We are insured against harm to children’s health and damage of household property.
beebi is primarily about children, and therefore we have not hesitated to involve them in our proposed design and implementation of our entire new visual identity as a company. The website that you are currently browsing consists of photographs taken by our children, nannies and the team behind beebi. Children are a huge inspiration. It has been wonderful to observe how and with what enthusiasm they have gotten involved in illustrating and drawing the pictures that accompany beebi’s entire presentation. You can read more about the idea behind beebi in the section ‘and why beebi’.
We realise from our experience as mothers that parents entrust to us those most precious to them, their children, and therefore the careful selection of our nannies is of utmost importance to us. The main condition for acceptance of a nanny is first and foremost a love for children, enthusiasm and joy from working and communicating with children. If children are interested, we can ensure as part of our childcare activities a rich programme and activities that will help their development and increase their awareness. We constantly monitor new trends in childcare and new approaches to children, and we organise topical training and meetings with experts from the ranks of psychologists and paediatricians for our nannies. Our babysitters accompany children to courses in swimming, exercise and singing as well as to Montessori workshops and cooking courses.

DEFINITION OF REQUIREMENTS FOR A NANNYAt the beginning of our cooperation, we will help you define the requirements for a suitable babysitter for your family, and you will receive basic information from us about cooperation and a specific price quote.

SELECTION OF SUITABLE CANDIDATESFollowing the approval of all requirements and offers, we will begin sending you profiles of suitable candidates. You can then send us the names of the nannies whom you would like to meet in person.

PERSONAL PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATESWe will introduce the babysitter to you in person. Based on our experience we recommend, if possible, that the first meeting of nannies with a family take place directly at the location where childcare will be provided.

ESTABLISHMENT OF A CONTRACTIf we agree on cooperation, we will enter into a contract on provision of childcare services with all of the required details, including a health questionnaire regarding the children, which will serve as important information about the child’s health condition.

FEEDBACKIf you are interested, the nanny can fill in a daily report for you for each care period, in which you will find out everything important about the course of the day, such as information about sleeping, the programme and activities carried out with your child, etc. Feedback is important for us too. We regularly ask parents whether everything has met their expectations. We are open to criticism as well as to suggestions for any changes.

If you use one-time or regular childcare, the nanny who goes to your family will be an employee of beebi s.r.o. and the agency will pay. You and beebi will enter into an agreement on provision of childcare services and pay an hourly rate according to the price list.
If you need a nanny for a full work period, you can take advantage of our nanny services brokerage, whereas based on your requirements we will recommend and select a nanny for you who will then enter into an employment relationship directly with you, meaning that the family will define the rules, including financial rewards, that will be paid to the nanny. You and beebi s.r.o. will enter into a brokerage agreement, and you will only pay a one-time brokerage fee.
We offer the ensuring of furnishings for children's play areas at company and private events, including organisation of children's celebrations and other themed parties.

First help
Each of us can find ourselves in a situation where someone around us will need help in the event of an accident or serious illness. In a truly critical, life-threatening event, the victim's chance of survival decreases literally every minute. For example, in the case of circulatory arrest, a well-executed, albeit layman's resuscitation, can significantly extend the hope of saving life.
During the existence of beebi company, we have trained hundreds of nannies and, thanks to the great interest in these courses, many new or experienced mothers and fathers. Thanks to our own maternal experiences, babysitting in families and the professional medical practice of our trainer, we came to the conclusion that the most important thing is to focus on situations: what to do when…
We offer professional first aid seminars aimed at children. You will learn when to call 155, how to help in situations such as falls, fractures or allergic reactions. We will discuss common childhood illnesses, from tummy aches to laryngitis or febrile convulsions. We will help you orientate yourself in providing first aid in serious cases such as poisoning, bleeding, burns, suffocation or impaired consciousness. However, we place the greatest emphasis on, under professional supervision, successfully mastered resuscitation (CPR) training. Thanks to the interactive mannequins with the app, you can try out how to properly perform CPR on infants or older children.
Nannies
Love of children, adaptation to the children's world, enthusiasm and joy from communication and work with children are all of the things that most accurately characterise our nannies and their relationship to children. We devote a lot of attention to the selection of babysitters. We prefer a long-term relationship based on mutual trust and respect. We are aware that nannies primarily ensure and carry out the service of providing childcare to clients, and therefore it is important to us for the nannies to also be satisfied with cooperation. The nanny who will take care of your child must especially be experienced and responsible as well as decisive in unpleasant situations. She must be creative, so that she can entertain your child even on rainy days or when the child is ill, and she must especially be sensitive to the child’s personality and the conditions of the entire family. Finally, the nanny must serve as a proper role model for your child’s future life.
We give priority to hiring women and girls with a medical or pedagogy education who have completed our childcare vetting process and who have experience with babysitting children in other families. We properly train our nannies, and they also regularly complete medical courses teaching the basics of first aid and other professional events focused on the development and care of children.

The International Communication Association (ICA), headquartered in Washington DC, USA, contracted with beebi to provide daycare services to conference registrants attending our annual conference, held in May 2018, in Prague, Czech Republic. The program ran four days straight, ten hours a day and was located in a hotel meeting room. From start to finish, working with beebi's owner Jana, and her staff, was a dream. They made it easy to coordinate a program from abroad, that met our needs. Iveta worked for us for approximately half a year, 30-40 hours per month, when she took care of our 2-year-old son. For me, the litmus test of satisfaction with the nanny was Adamek's reaction; he often asks Iveta questions, wants to talk on the phone with her and jumps up and down with joy whenever she comes to our home. So I can leave calmly and do what I need to, or I can enjoy time for myself, without having to worry about how my only child is doing. Babysitting: Price / 1 hour. The prices are final, we are not VAT payers. Minimal charging time within 1 babysitting is 3 hours for clients in Prague, 4 hours for clients outside Prague. Then each started half hour is charged.
The prices include transportation within the city of Prague, otherwise there is an extra charge for transportation. If you wish to order babysitting after 10 p.m., please arrange a safe transport for the nanny to her place of residence (taxi) or offer an overnight stay at your house.
